The project involves constructing a new pump station at the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation Wastewater Treatment Plant in Elk Grove, CA, including civil, mechanical, structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines. This includes demolition of existing structures, paving, sidewalks, and curb/gutter; installation of underground 66” and 72” welded steel pipe; grading and paving of new facility roadways; earthwork to depths exceeding 25’ below ground surface; installation of surge tanks and underground pump stations; construction of a new PEMB for the electrical substation including but not limited to lighting, fixtures, plumbing, fire alarm/control/protection, HVAC, windows, doors, coiling doors, flooring, masonry, casework, and insulation; construction of a manhole and duct bank system providing 4.16 kV to the new substation; construction of a 480 V power system for the pump station; integration into the plant SCADA system; and installation of new MCCs and VFDs.
Items available to be subcontracted and/or purchased include but are not limited to concrete materials; aggregate base, rock, & sand; surveying; welding; erosion/sediment control; SWPPP design and implementation; excavation & off haul; AC paving; rebar; miscellaneous metals; painting/coating; WWTP equipment; piping, valves, & accessories; flooring; insulation & acoustic ceilings; casework; drywall & framing; HVAC; hydroseeding; masonry; plumbing; electrical materials & equipment; instrumentation & control; and fire alarm & protection.
